By Desmos Nfor
CAMEROON, YAOUNDE– The Tchangui Trilingual School Group, known for its unique blend of Italian pedagogy and multilingual instruction, is currently setting a high standard for early education in Cameroon through its thriving Nursery and Primary sections. While focusing on its youngest learners, the institution has also ambitions to launch the secondary school and subsequently higher education of international standards
Currently, Tchangui provides a rigorous trilingual environment where children are immersed in English, French, and Italian since the creation of the school. This early exposure, guided by the child-centered methods of education (Montessori Education), ensures that pupils develop exceptional linguistic flexibility alongside strong academic skills.
"Our mission in the Nursery and Primary sections is to build true global citizens," stated by the school proprietor. "By integrating the rich cultural and academic structure of Italian schooling with the necessity of trilingual fluency, we are giving our pupils a powerful head start in a competitive world."
The curriculum emphasizes creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and a holistic approach to development, a hallmark of Italian education. The success of these foundational programs will fuel the school’s long-term visions.
Ambitious Plans for Secondary and University
Looking ahead after four (4) years of existence, the Tchangui Trilingual School Group is actively developing a comprehensive expansion strategy. The school confirms that projects for launching Secondary and University sections are currently in program.
This expansion is designed to provide a seamless educational pathway for its current students, ensuring they can continue their Italian-led, trilingual education all the way through higher learning all in Cameroon thanks to the cooperation between Cameroon and Italy
The planned Secondary section which is the next on the list will focus on preparing students for GCE O/A levels programs, while the proposed University section aims to offer specialized degrees that leverage the school’s unique international partnerships and trilingual focus.
"This is a commitment to the future of our pupils and to the educational development of Cameroon," the representative added. "We are building a complete educational ecosystem that will foster leaders fluent in three languages and grounded in a world-class academic tradition."
